Accessibility

Last updated October 29, 2026

XCabinets wants everyone to be able to plan, price and buy cabinets with us, online or at the workshop. We follow the principles of Ontario's Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA): dignity, independence, integration and equal opportunity.

On this website

We build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA: text that can be resized, enough colour contrast, descriptive image text, and pages that work with a keyboard and a screen reader.

Some parts are visual by nature. The 3D kitchen view and the drawings are easiest to use with a mouse or touch screen. Every size, option and price in them is also listed as text, and you can always email or call us and we will plan and price your order with you, at the same prices as the site.

At the workshop

  • Service animals and support persons are welcome.
  • You are welcome to use your own assistive devices. Tell us ahead of time if you need help, and we will load your order for you.
  • If something affects access, such as a closure or construction at the workshop, we email customers with orders waiting and post a notice on this site.

Other formats

Our policies, drawings and order details are available in another format on request, such as large print, a plain-text email or a phone call. Ask and we will arrange it at no cost.

Feedback
